A 25 years history

Close to 25 years experience in manufacturing, sales and distribution of solar panels and associated products.

Already in 1985, Grands Moulins de Paris and Charbonnage de France launched a joint venture in renewable energies. Partnering with an American company, an amorphous thin film photvoltaic solar panels manufacturing plant was erected in view of serving basic needs people in remote areas far from any electrical grid.

In 1998, an investor from The Netherlands bought this plant and invested in quality improvement and production automation. The entity name became Free Energy Europe.

Since July 2006, the company is 100% owned by the deutsch group WWE Sustainable Solutions, located in the Hague - The Netherlands.
